Meadow Store is an independent fashion, lifestyle and gift store in the heart of Jindabyne, in the NSW Snowy Mountains.

Our style is classically Australian and laidback, with a hint of folky Alpine character and sophisticated street edge - in equal parts.

Inside you'll find a rare blend of Australian and independent fashion, high-quality natural fibre clothing, handcrafted accessories, jewellery, beautiful gifts and considered everyday pieces.

We have a particular love for linen, hemp, organic cotton, wool and other natural and considered fibres, and seek out designers and makers whose approach to quality, production and longevity aligns with our own.

Everything at Meadow is chosen with intention. We want the pieces you find here to be things you'll genuinely wear, use, give and love.

Meadow Store Colour Studio

Meadow is also home to the Meadow Store Colour Studio, offering Personal Colour Analysis in Jindabyne for individuals and groups.

Through professional colour draping, we explore the colours that work most beautifully with your natural colouring and discover your personal palette, signature colours and ideal directions for clothing, jewellery, hair and makeup.

Our approach to colour is empowering rather than prescriptive. Your palette is a tool, not another set of rules about what you can and can't wear.

Individual sessions are a wonderfully personal experience, while group Colour Analysis offers something fun and completely different to do with friends, family or the women you're travelling with.

And when the Snowy Mountains weather isn't cooperating with your outdoor plans, it's a pretty lovely way to spend a few hours indoors.

Meet Sam

Meadow Store is owned and curated by Samantha Denford, a Fashion Design graduate, experienced fashion buyer and qualified Advanced Colour Analyst with more than 20 years of experience across fashion, buying, sales and independent retail.

After years working within the fashion industry, Sam became increasingly interested not just in what women buy, but in the relationship we have with our clothes in the first place.

Why do we choose what we choose?

What makes something feel like us?

And how can we enjoy fashion and beautiful things without being endlessly encouraged to consume more of them?

Those questions now sit at the heart of Meadow.

Sam is passionate about supporting Australian and independent design, choosing natural fibres wherever possible, considering how and where things are made, and helping women find pieces they genuinely love rather than simply following what's next.

Her educational work continues through The New Style School, where she explores personal style, colour, confidence, identity and authentic self-expression.

Meadow is where many of those ideas become tangible. A place to touch beautiful fabrics, experiment with colour, try something unexpected and perhaps leave knowing your own style a little better than when you walked in.
